This teapot took me a lot of time. It was helpful having made a teapot last year because I was able to use techniques I've previously learned, but it also allowed me to do things differently as I learned from my mistakes. Last year my teapot was small with a hug spout in comparison. This year I took lots of effort to have a proportional spout. I had some problems with my handle this year. First it broke before I bisqued it, then it brok after we used cement and bisqued it. After this, I used glaze to hold the handle on, and so far it has not broke.
I used a white glaze to create a simple, unified project. Though the white runs, I also used seamix clay, so the color is still white. I am very proud of this Teapot and it is clear to see the improvement between this years and last years.
